If you need a site to stay Hotel Sierra Suites Alpharetta is a great choice, and do take a look at Lake Providence, it's a gorgeous lake. Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a good national park, and if you're here, you could also take a look at picturesque Eads Lake. Just can't get enough of Copeland Lake. Very great water scenery is available at Copeland Dam in the vicinity of Copeland Lake, and Big Creek       has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Brookshire Creek Trail, and camping is available at Marietta Campground. Camping at Twin Lakes Park is always a glorious experience, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Marsh Creek. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Copeland Lake. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the                  20's overnight here at Copeland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here.
