Camping at Copeland Lake is fine fun, Twin Lakes Park is a fine local campground, and Eads Lake is a nice lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek, and there's always Copeland Dam to visit near Copeland Lake. Summertime highs at Copeland Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are       usually in the 40's with temperatures at Copeland Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Marsh Creek, and Hotel Sierra Suites Alpharetta is a pleasant place to get some rest. If you need a location to stay Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Alpharetta-Windward is a nice choice; Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are nice to pop by close by. This is no place for people                  who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Brookshire Creek Trail, and golf can be played at Crooked Creek Golf Club. Marietta Campground is a brilliant campground here, and Copeland Lake is not far at all from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. Copeland Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is September.
