Be careful coming to Coots Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Do have a look at Upper Coots Lake near Coots Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and Coots Lake is not far at all from Cedartown. The Rock Camp Ground is a great local campground; Econo Lodge Rockmart is a splendid site to get some rest. The high level of rainfall makes Coots Lake a reasonably wet spot; during March this area sees the most rain, and       October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Goodyear Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by, and you can take a little spree to Lower Coots Lake Dam while you're here at Coots Lake. Summertime at Coots Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Coots Lake fall into the                  30's. While you're here at Coots Lake, you could also go to picturesque Lake Dorene, and dry warm beds await you at Rockmart Day Inn.
