Summertime at Coots Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's; overnight lows at Coots Lake during the wintertime generally plunge into the 30's. There's so much to do here at Coots Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sawnee Campground is a tremendous place for that, and       one of the governing marks of the surroundings of Coots Lake is Signal Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at The Rock Camp Ground, and if you need a place to stay Garden Inn & Suites is a brilliant choice. Coots Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month is October. While you're here at Coots Lake, you could also visit lovely Forsyth Lake, and a golf course close by is Goodyear                  Golf Course. People from Cedartown love to come to Coots Lake; after a long day outdoors Polk Motel is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. And that's not all you can do here at Coots Lake.
