Georgia has many beautiful lakes and Cooper Lake is one of them. Camping is available at La Siesta RV Park; a gorgeous lake like Cardinal Lake is a brilliant location to go to. After a long day outdoors Sun Suites of Smyrna Vinings I-285 is a great spot to spend a night or two, and a magnificent place to camp here at Cooper Lake is Arrowhead Campground.

you're here at Cooper Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rottenwood Creek.
Dry warm beds await you
at Clarion Suites Hotel; there are some good whitewater spots on Chattahoochee River. Cooper Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through March this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
