Getting to Pettit Creek from Conner Lake is uncomplicated; Dellinger Lake is a wonderful lake close by. The high level of rainfall makes Conner Lake a pretty wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is the month with the least       moisture. Why not stop at Racoon Creek Structure Number Eight Dam while you're here, and camping at Shady Grove Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Cedartown here at Conner Lake, and a wonderful lake like Taylor Lake is a fine location to take a look at. The warmest time of the year at Conner Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The                  winter brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Conner Lake fall into the 20's.
