Lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Steel Lake close to Collins Lake, and Collins Lake is right by the Chattooga Trail. Through the months of summer highs here at Collins Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's with winter lows in       the 20's overnight here at Collins Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Toccoa; there are plenty of people from Toccoa here at Collins Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Big Panther Creek, and while you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Toccoa City Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. North Fork Broad River Structure Three Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. There's so much to do here                  at Collins Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a magnificent place for that. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Collins Lake. Country Hearth Inn Toccoa is a great spot to get some rest; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Brasstown Creek. Collins Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is frequently the driest month.
