If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Callier Springs Country Club is close at hand; folks from Rome love to come here. Coker Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Morrison Campground is a good spot to camp nearby, and a glorious close by hotel is Days Inn Rome Downtown. Coker Lake mostly gets a good       deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. There's whitewater on Big Cedar Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Coker Lake is not the only location nearby, Fort Jackson Reservoir is a nearby lake, and it's a nice idea to stop at Big Dry Creek. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Summertime at Coker Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, typically in the 60's.
