Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Coker Lake. Jones Bend is an exciting place to explore while at Coker Lake, and if you get bored of Coker Lake you could also take a look at nearby Victory Lake. Moondrop Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; after a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Rome is a good spot to spend a night or two. This lake is       so wonderful. Callier Springs Country Club is a pleasant golf course close by, and Morrison Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. While you're here at Coker Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Rome, and there's some flowing water nearby, Big Dry Creek is a stream you can go to while here. Rome-Days Inn Downtown is a tremendous place to get some rest; Coker Lake is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Rome-floyd County Recreation                  is a delightful spot to camp nearby. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Big Cedar Creek. For the period of the long summer days at Coker Lake highs are commonly in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Coker Lake.
