Get covered with water paddling on Flat Shoals River; Cofield Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Highland Marina Resort is a great site to camp nearby. If you need a location to stay Travelodge West Point is a tremendous choice, and 3 Creeks RV Park is a pleasant local campground. Cofield Lake gets a good deal of water; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Cofield Dam is a gorgeous site close to Cofield Lake, and Days Inn La Grange is a great location to get some rest. So much entertaining stuff right next door to Cofield Lake, just fantastic. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lanier Lake is in the neighborhood of Cofield Lake, and do stop by Whitewater Creek since you're here at Cofield Lake. You could also check out Fellowship Lake while you're here at Cofield Lake; it's nearby; lots of folks from Valley come here. | |

Summertime highs at Cofield Lake regularly tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Cofield Lake.
