Cochrans Lake North is a wet site that gets a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls through March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Cochrans Lake North all through the summertime highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight

If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sope Creek,
and Sandestin Beach Hilton is a perfect site to get some rest. A tremendous location to camp here at Cochrans Lake North is La Siesta RV Park, and the vista of pretty Sweat Mountain is wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Camping
at Marietta Campground is always a great experience, and Marsh Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
