If you need a place to stay Lake Park Inn is a great choice, and lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Bonet Lake. Any time is a good time at Clayton Lake if you fancy the outdoors. A fine spot for whitewater paddling close to Clayton Lake is Alapahoochee River Grand Bay Canal), and Guesthouse Intl Lake Park is a good spot to get some rest. Summer at Clayton Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. When the       night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
