This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Shingle Roof Campground if you're here at Clayton County Reservoir, and obviously, all our national parks are tremendous places to stop at and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is no exception. So much cool stuff to do at Clayton County Reservoir, so little time. If you need a place to stay Red Roof Inn Atlanta Southeast is a good       choice; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yellow River. The scenery at Clayton County Reservoir Dam near Clayton County Reservoir is beautiful, and if you came for an overnight stay Mc Dondugh Koa Kampground is a wonderful location to camp. A great nearby hotel is Inn at Eagles Landing, and golf can be played at Georgia National Golf Club. At Clayton County Reservoir throughout the summer highs are in the 80's,                  and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 50's while Clayton County Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. Clayton County Reservoir is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and September is when it's the driest.
