Clayton County Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. After a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Atlanta Southeast is a great place to spend a night or two, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Scotts Lake is just a very short distance away. Clayton County Reservoir ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through March; the driest of the months is September. is great on South River. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Yellow River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by, and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is one of the destinations that are glorious to
stop at nearby. Why not pop by Clayton County Reservoir Dam since you're here, and Clayton County Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Shingle Roof Campground is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
