A journey to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is worthwhile, and Rottenwood Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Clark Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Atlanta North KOA is a fine place for that;       you can run the rapids of Sope Creek. Upper Tanyard Creek Swimming Beach is next to Clark Lake if you're in a beach type of mood, and Travelodge Atlanta North Kennesaw is a splendid location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. At Clark Lake you always meet someone from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. All the water falling down from the sky makes Clark Lake a wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the                  driest month. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do right next door to Clark Lake. A round of golf at nearby Cobblestone Golf Course is a delightful way to kill some time, and if you need a site to stay Sleep Inn & Suites Kennesaw is a wonderful choice. High temperatures at Clark Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 50's while Clark Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.
