You can run the rapids of Chattahoochee River in close proximity to City of East Point Reservoir; of course Wolf Creek flows through this region. Camp Truitt-fulton is a great campground here, and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a pleasant place nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to City of East Point Reservoir. Once the sun is down it       falls down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to City of East Point Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at City of East Point Reservoir is splendid fun, Arrowhead Campground is a splendid local campground, and Deluxe Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near City of East Point Reservoir. Very delightful water scenery is available at                  City of East Point Reservoir Dam in close proximity to City of East Point Reservoir, and in the vicinity of City of East Point Reservoir you stumble on a golf course called Wolf Creek Golf Course. People from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta love to come to City of East Point Reservoir; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Conart Lake. City of East Point Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and September is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
