City Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. At City Lake you always meet someone from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. Nearby lakes? Sure, Milams Lake is next       to City Lake, and South Oaks Manufactured Home is a splendid campground nearby. Any time is a splendid time at City Lake if you go for the outdoors. Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is one of the destinations close to City Lake that are great to go to; if you need a site to stay Sleep Inn & Suites Fairburn is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Line Creek offers some pleasant whitewater; a splendid                  close by hotel is Wingate by Wyndham Atlanta South Fairburn. During the summer highs here at City Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at City Lake through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 20's.
