If you came to camp Traders Hill Recreation Area is a wonderful place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Waycross is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Christmas Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and October is the month       with the least moisture. The Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lovely lake like Finger Lake is a brilliant location to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Christmas Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Okefenokee Pastimes is a fine local campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Christmas Lake; Indian Trail is a great local trail. Throughout the summer at Christmas Lake temperatures are mostly                  in the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Christmas Lake. Just can't get enough of Christmas Lake.
