A perfect location to camp here at Christian Lake is Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Inns-Athens. Some of the water close by flows, like Lampkin Branch, and Christian Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Lake RV Campground is a great local campground. During the warmest time of the year,       highs mostly are in the 80's at Christian Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Christian Lake. Paddling on Rose Creek is so much fun, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Scull Shoals Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Christian Lake, for example Bells Lake, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby                  called the Falling Camp Trail. So many entertaining things near Christian Lake, definitely fantastic.
