Lots of people from Athens-Clarke County come to Christian Lake; going for a hike along the Mounds Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. While you're here at Christian Lake you can take       a hike along the Scull Shoals Trail. Lakes are brilliant; Bells Lake is a lake that's close to Christian Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do at Christian Lake, so little time. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling near Christian Lake is Rose Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Barnett Lake.
