At Chism Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Chism Lake are in the 20's. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Chism Lake. Ramada Limited Douglasville is a magnificent place to get some rest, and Shawnee Lake Dam is lovely.       Chism Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Douglasville is a pleasant choice. You could also go to Shawnee Lake while you're here at Chism Lake; it's nearby, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Annewakee River. This lake is so wonderful. Chism Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than                  a day at, Sweetwater Creek State Park is a brilliant local campground, and close to Chism Lake you discover a golf course called Greystone Golf Course.
