After a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Barnesville is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and if you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby course is Forsyth Golf Club. The warmest time       of the year at Childs Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Childs Pond are in the 30's. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. Childs Pond Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Childs Pond, and you'll meet a lot of folks                  from Thomaston here. This lake is so wonderful.
