Take a side journey to Aboothlacoosta Creek, and camping is available at High Falls State Park. Get dripping wet paddling on Big Sandy Creek, and you don’t have to go far from Chief McIntosh Lake to spot the water at Chief McIntosh Lake Dam. The Kinnard Horse Trail is a wonderful hiking trail next to Chief McIntosh Lake, and Hickory Hill Golf Club is a good golf course close by. What a place this is for outdoors people.
