You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cheathams Pond has to offer, you can camp at Flat Rock Campground, and whitewater paddling is great on Whooping Creek. For the duration of the summer months here at Cheathams Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's while Cheathams Pond       nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn; next to Cheathams Pond you find a golf course called Hogansville Golf Club. A great deal of rain falls at Cheathams Pond; the month with most of the rain is March; October is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of Cheathams Pond. Paddling on Snake River is so much fun. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Hogansville                  is a fine spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Cheathams Pond that you need to camp here for a while, 3 Creeks RV Park is a great location for that.
