Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Gray, and if you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Douglas Lake. High temperatures at Cheatham Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter       this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Cheatham Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Macon East is a magnificent choice, and camping is available at Little River Park. If you haven’t been to Ocmulgee National Monument, you should schedule some time for it if you're here, and you can go for a hike on the Twin Bridges Trail. Cheatham Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; March                  is when you get the most rain here, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Cheatham Lake is a location with many visitors from Macon. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is a delightful location to camp, and don't leave Cheatham Lake without first going for a hike along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail.
