Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Kinderlou Forest Golf Club; camping at Chappell Lake is nice fun, Shady Oaks Campground is a nice local campground. And that's not all you can do here at Chappell Lake. Chappell Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and October on the other hand is       the driest. If you need a location to stay Georgian Motel is a perfect choice, and the nice people of Valdosta like to hang out nearby. High temperatures at Chappell Lake during the summertime months are in the 90's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's, and night lows in the 30's for Chappell Lake.
