So much amusing stuff in the vicinity of Chapman Lake, simply extraordinary. You don’t have to go far from Chapman Lake to see the water at Smiley Pond Dam. Do check out Smiley Pond right next door to Chapman Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and Black Calico is an attention-grabbing swamp close to Chapman Lake. Summer at Chapman Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's; all through summer nights       temperatures are in the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Chapman Lake are in the 30's. Jones Creek is a great local stream; camping at Beaver Creek RV Campground is always a great experience. Camping is available at Pinelake Campgrounds, and a wonderful close by hotel is Ramada Jesup. A great deal of precipitation falls at Chapman Lake; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest                  month is November. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Chapman Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Jesup, and after a long day outdoors Jesup, Ga.
