Custom Search     Chalker Lake     The Chalker Swamp is actually above 88. It starts at Mitchell. From Jewell to 123, Shoals, is a good a day paddle. In by 10 am, out about 5pm when the water level is ok. At Shoals observe the rocks/water and water color. From 123 to Agricola Rd just above Mitchell is another good paddle, 1/2 day. On the lower trip we flip rooster tails and fry our fish at lunch. mmmmmmm Says Rusty C The Jewell to 123 bridge sector is a great 5-mile-in-length type II(III)     run of whitewater on Ogeechee River. If you don’t want to risk getting soaked this run of Ogeechee River is possibly not for you.
