A lake close by is Mathis Lake, and if you came to camp Hard       Labor Creek State Park is a magnificent spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Country Hearth Inn Monroe, and Hard Labor Creek Golf Course is a fine golf course close by. Cedar Lake is a rather wet place commonly with a large amount of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and September on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year at Cedar Lake comes with high temperatures                  in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's.
