Go to Castle Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. A great location for whitewater paddling near Castle Lake is Sweetwater Creek; some close by water includes Nickajack Creek. is a delightful place to camp.
While you're here at Castle Lake, you could also visit pretty Goodwin Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Castle Lake a wet spot; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is September.
