Casaga Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hamilton Branch Campground is a great local campground; naturally Bailey Branch is a scenic stream that is worth going to. At Casaga Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Casaga Lake dipping down into       the 20's through winter nights. Casaga Lake gets a large amount of water; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Casaga Lake is right by the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Stevens Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site to camp here at Casaga Lake is White Oak Campground; at Casaga Lake                  Dam near Casaga Lake there are some exciting things to see. This is a popular place for folks from Augusta-Richmond County. Casaga Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Three Oaks Golf Course is a good golf course nearby, and after a long day outdoors Best Suites is a fine spot to spend a night or two.
