Carver Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March while October is typically the driest month. A golf course close to Carver Lake is Canyon Ridge Golf Course; camping is available at Camp Laney. Here at Carver       Lake there are plenty of folks from Summerville, and a fine site to camp here at Carver Lake is Sequoyah Caverns and Campgrounds. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Carver Lake; Bluff Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Little River Canyon National Preserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and after a long day outdoors Trenton Days Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. Summer at Carver Lake                  comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Carver Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Carver Lake is close to Carver Lake Dam which is a stunning place certainly worth going to; Scott Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Carver Lake, you could also have a look at charming Green Pond, and there are some good whitewater spots on Gulf Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Key West Inn La Fayette, and there's pleasant hiking along the Skyuka Trail.
