Camping at Plum Nelly Campground is always a great experience; why not a little side visit to Fisher Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Cohutta Lodge & Restaurant; Coosawattee River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. Through the warm months at Carters Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. The wintertime       brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Carters Lake. Carters Lake is not the only place close by, Reregulation Pool is a close by lake, and if you need a site to stay Scottish Inn is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Calhoun here at Carters Lake. Go for a hike on the Songbird Trail, and camping is available at Lake Conasauga Campground. Carters Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to                  check out, and going for a hike on the Emery Creek Trail is always a nice adventure. Carters Lake is a reasonably wet place regularly with much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most; October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
