Carter Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and October meanwhile is the driest month. An out of the ordinary thing to pop by close to Carter Lake is North Paradise       Lake Dam; after a long day outdoors Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center is a great site to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Carter Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Oaks Manufactured Home.
