If you come at the right time of year, Tanyard Branch offers some delightful whitewater; Atlanta West Campgrounds is a tremendous campground here. Summertime highs at Carmichel Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Carmichel Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. Be careful       coming to Carmichel Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you need a place to stay Sleep Inn Fairburn is a great choice. Dry warm beds await you at Execustay By Marriott, and Carmichel Lake Dam is a beautiful location, undeniably worth checking out. A large amount of rain falls at Carmichel Lake; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake                  is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Bear Creek; Carmichel Lake is a splendid location to camp, Arrowhead Campground is a splendid location.
