So much cool stuff to do at Carmichel Lake, so little time. If you need a place to stay AtlantaDouglasville Ga is a pleasant choice; don't forget to take a magnificent little trip to Bear Creek. Carmichel Lake gets a lot of water; March is the month that gets the most rain; October is the       month with the least moisture. Get wet paddling on Tanyard Branch, and if you've had enough of Carmichel Lake, Smith Lake is close by. At Carmichel Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Carmichel Lake are in the 20's.
