Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail, and if you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Gordon Hwy is a fine choice. Carmichael Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Flynn's Inn Camping Village is a tremendous local campground, and if you're going to from Augusta-Richmond County, you won't be the only one. Carmichael Pond commonly gets a great       deal of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is November. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Goshen Plantation Golf Club is nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Savannah River offers some splendid whitewater. This place, Carmichael Pond, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. For the duration of the days of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at Carmichael                  Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Carmichael Pond.
