If you came to camp Flynn's Inn Camping Village is a magnificent place to do that, and if you're stopping by from Augusta-Richmond County, you won't be the only one. Glide down the rapids of Savannah River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Carmichael Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Fox Hollow Camp Ground is a splendid location for that. Carmichael Pond usually gets a large amount of precipitation;       March is when you get the most rain here while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the long summer days here at Carmichael Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Carmichael Pond dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. So much exciting stuff to do at Carmichael Pond, so little time. After                  a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Gordon Hwy is a fine place to spend a night or two; while you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Goshen Plantation Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at McDade Pond near Carmichael Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and Quality Inn South is a great place to get some rest.
