Carmichael Lake is a lake worth visiting. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Carmichael Lake; Brookshire Creek Trail is a nice local trail, and visiting Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Comfort Inn Canton is a pleasant place to get some rest,
also Carmichael Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Homestead Inn; Bradshaw Farms Golf Course is a tremendous golf course close by. Camping at Carmichael Lake is great
fun, Marietta Campground is a great local campground, and Big Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by.
