Nearby Indian Shoals is a nice location to go if you're at Carls Twin Lakes, and camping at Campwest Minster is always a perfect experience. The high level of precipitation makes Carls Twin Lakes a pretty wet location; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest       month of the year is October. So much amusing stuff to do here at Carls Twin Lakes, too good to be true. An afternoon playing golf at Cedar Lake Golf Course is always a pleasure, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Snellville/Stone Mountain. Carls Twin Lakes Dam is beautiful and it's right next door to Carls Twin Lakes. Lakes? Sure, Moons Lake is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Brushy Fork is a splendid spot to visit, and                  whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yellow River. Camping is available at Stone Mountain Park, and not far from Carls Twin Lakes you'll locate Beaver Lake which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Through the warm months at Carls Twin Lakes highs are usually in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
