This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Yellow River offers some great whitewater, and Super 8 Motel Snellville/Stone Mountain Ga is a wonderful spot to get some rest. Carls Twin Lakes Dam is not far at all from Carls Twin Lakes, and Carls Twin Lakes is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lawrenceville Campground is a tremendous local campground. There's so much to do here at Carls       Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Salem Campground is a glorious place for that, and if you need a place to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Conyers, GA is a good choice. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Carls Twin Lakes. If you're here at Carls Twin Lakes and you like golf, you can visit Cedar Lake Golf Course, and Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a very glorious place to take a look                  at. The high level of rain makes Carls Twin Lakes a pretty wet place; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is regularly the driest month. A trip to Indian Shoals is always fun, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Brushy Fork.
