Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is one of the destinations in the neighborhood of Candler Lake that are good to go to; if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Charlie Yates Golf Course. for some flowing water? Try Burnt Fork Creek. You can run the rapids of Marsh Creek in close proximity to Candler Lake. Lakes are great; Piedmont Lake is a lake that's near Candler Lake.
Emory Conference Center Hotel is a perfect
site to get some rest, and camping at White Water Express is always a pleasant experience. Summertime highs at Candler Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and the night is a little colder of course, mostly in the 60's. For the
duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Candler Lake through the winter typically plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. At Chandler Dam near Candler Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Chattahoochee River.
