Bush Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Christie Lake, and the Indian Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Throughout the summer months at Camphose Lake highs are usually in the 90's. Through the moonlight       hours it's regularly in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 60's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Camphose Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do near Camphose Lake. Traders Hill Recreation Area is a great local campground, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a great choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Camphose Lake                  a wet spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
