Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort is a fine local campground, and get dripping wet paddling on Whooping Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Camp Waco Lake and you like golf, you can visit The Lion Golf Club, and a lake close by is Muse Lake. All through the summer at Camp Waco Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in       the 50's while Camp Waco Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Camp Waco Lake is not the only site nearby, West Lake is a nearby lake; if you need a spot to stay Bremen Days Inn is a great choice.
