A round of golf at nearby Bentwater Golf Club is a great way to kill some time, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HIRAM (DALLAS AREA). This lake is so wonderful. An interesting thing to go to in close proximity to Camp Lake is Camp Lake Dam; camping at Old Hi-way 41 Campground Number 3 is always       a delightful experience. Be careful coming to Camp Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Lakes are such serene spots, why not have a look at Powell Lake near Camp Lake; camping is available at Cartersville Koa Kampground. Summertime highs at Camp Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Camp Lake. Whitewater paddling                  is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mobley Creek, and do take a look at Bone Creek if you're here at Camp Lake. Camp Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest. Braly Lake is a perfect lake near Camp Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Dallas is a good location to spend a night or two.
