There's so much to do here at Camp Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Okefenokee Pastimes is a wonderful place for that. Camp Lake is a place with many visitors from St. Marys, and if you came to camp Traders Hill Recreation Area is a fine site to do that. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Camp Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Camp Lake a wet spot; the       month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is November. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Trout Lake is close at hand, and you need to go to Hich Bluff since you're here. Not far from Camp Lake, you'll find Billys Lake which is a beautiful lake; a great close by hotel is Econo Lodge Cumberland. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Camp Lake with nighttime lows in the 60's.
