Russell: Camp Glisson is private property owned and run as a Camp & Retreat Center by the United Methodist Church. The lakes on the property are not available as a camping area. to Camp Glisson Lower Lake, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega is a brilliant choice. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Camp Glisson Lower Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and the
nighttime is quite colder of course, commonly in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Camp Glisson Lower Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Going for a hike along
