Here at Camp Glisson Lower Lake there are plenty of folks from Gainesville. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Stay the night at Crisson Campground, and a tour to Cane Creek Falls will fill your soul with splendid feelings. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. You could       also stop at Woody Lake if you're here at Camp Glisson Lower Lake; it's nearby, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Duncan Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Falls Mountain can be observed from Camp Glisson Lower Lake; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Black Mountain Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. A round of golf at nearby Nicklaus Golf Club at Birch River is a tremendous way to kill some                  time, and Camp Glisson Lower Lake is a magnificent place to camp, Blackburn Park and Campground is a magnificent place. This lake is so wonderful. Very good water scenery is available at Camp Glisson Lower Lake Dam in close proximity to Camp Glisson Lower Lake, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega is a brilliant choice. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Camp Glisson Lower Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, commonly in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Camp Glisson Lower Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Going for a hike along the DeSoto Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Dahlonega. Camp Glisson Lower Lake is a quite wet place typically with a lot of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. This place rules, just look at all the cool stuff to do near Camp Glisson Lower Lake.
