This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Frogtown Creek, and if you're here, you could also stop at gorgeous Tallhurst Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Chestatee River is so much fun, and Camp Coleman Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Brookside Camp Ground is a wonderful location       to camp nearby. Just can't get enough of Camp Coleman Lake. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Shingle Mill Gap, and if you need a site to stay Cleveland Days Inn is a brilliant choice. A great close by hotel is Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Helan, and do take a hike on the Whitly Gap Trail. And that's not everything you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is good fun, and at                  Camp Coleman Lake you always meet someone from Gainesville. For the period of the days of summer at Camp Coleman Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
