You'll need more than a day to look at everything Camelot Lake has to offer, you can camp at Heritage Mobile Home Community. There's nice hiking along the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail; a delightful close by hotel is Best Western Evans Hotel. Paddling on Savannah River is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Camelot Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Forks Campground is a great site for that. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Camelot Lake get into the 90's with night lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down throughout
the wintertime temperatures at Camelot Lake descend into the 30's. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A round of golf at nearby Forest Hills Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time, and fine hiking is available
along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. Camelot Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest month is November.
