Calhoun Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. Five Star Hotel is a delightful location to get some rest, and why not camp at Salem Campground since you're here at Calhoun Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Cedar Lake Golf Course; if you came for an overnight stay Lawrenceville Campground is a glorious       place to camp. Summertime highs at Calhoun Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Calhoun Lake. Yellow River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and after a long day outdoors Jameson Inns is a great place to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of Calhoun Lake. In the event that you don’t have                  a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Alcovy River.
