This lake is so wonderful. Days Inn Donalsonville is a delightful spot to get some rest; do stop at Little Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Buttonwood Pond mostly gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Be careful       coming to Buttonwood Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Spooner Springs is a splendid local attraction. A great place to camp here at Buttonwood Pond is Spring Creek Park Resort; while you're here you ought to check out Buck Hole. Why not camp at Seminole State Park since you're here at Buttonwood Pond, and a wonderful lake like Sykes Water Gap is a great spot to visit. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Buttonwood Pond; the nighttime is                  quite chillier of course, mostly in the 60's.
