Busseys Pond is a wet place that gets much precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Holly Isles Campground is a great spot to camp; a glorious nearby hotel is Ramada Inn. Camping is available at Southern Gates RV Park and Campground, and Busseys Pond       is not the only site close by, Wynne Lake is a close by lake. All through the long summer days, highs generally are in the 90's at Busseys Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Busseys Pond are in the 30's.
