| | hike along the Whitly Gap Trail, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Dahlonega, Georgia is a splendid choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. At Burgess Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. if you like the outdoors. A wonderful lake like Ponys Lake in close proximity to Burgess Lake is a fine spot to stop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Crisson Campground is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
A great nearby hotel is Dahlonega Days Inn (Hwy 19 & Hwy 60), and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the DeSoto Falls Trail. You'll locate a wonderful lake called Ponys Lake near Burgess Lake, and Cavenders Creek is one
of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Here at Burgess Lake there are plenty of people from Gainesville. This lake is so wonderful. Near Burgess Lake you locate a golf course called Nicklaus Golf Club at Birch
River, and there's always Burgess Lake Dam to pop by near Burgess Lake. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting
drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tesnatee Creek, and hiking along the Black Mountain Trail is splendid fun.
