Mountains. Having a splendid time at Burgess Lake is easy. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Black Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Burgess Lake has to offer, you can camp at Crisson Campground.
Burgess Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Burgess Lake is a spot with many visitors from Gainesville.
On a splendid day at Burgess Lake you can take a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail, and Tesnatee Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby.
Throughout the warmest time of the year at Burgess Lake temperatures are frequently in the
80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Burgess Lake.
