An afternoon playing golf at Lane Creek Golf Club is always a diversion; do take a hike on the Scull Shoals Trail. Lots       of rainfall falls at Bullocks Lake; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is September. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Rose Creek in a kayak, and after a long day outdoors Foundry Park Inn & Spa is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of Bullocks Lake. The                  Mounds Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping is available at Pine Lake RV Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area is a pleasant place to camp. Lakes are splendid; Pettit Lake is a lake that's near Bullocks Lake. Summertime at Bullocks Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's.
