Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a perfect local destination here at Buice Lake, and you can stay the night at Kennesaw Koa Kampground. Whitewater paddling is fine on Sope Creek, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta for sure. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Buice Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything       Buice Lake has to offer, you can camp at Atlanta North KOA, and get dripping wet paddling on Chattahoochee River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Travelodge Kennesaw is a nice choice, and if you're here, you could also take a look at beautiful Clark Lake. During the days of summer at Buice Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 60's.
