In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River. There's so much to do here at Buena Vista Lake that you need to camp here for a while, White Water Express is a delightful location for that. Crawford Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and a perfect nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Select Atlanta-Decatur (Conf Plz),       Ga. Shoal Creek flows through this neighborhood, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-N. Ave., Ga is a wonderful choice. High temperatures at Buena Vista Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows at Buena Vista Lake throughout the winter typically sink into the 20's. Charlie Yates Golf Course is a magnificent                  golf course close by. Why not visit Buena Vista Lake Dam if you're here, and you'll meet a lot of people from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here. Any time is a perfect time at Buena Vista Lake if you love the outdoors. If time allows, Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a national park worth visiting, and if you came to camp White Water Learning Center is a wonderful place to do that.
