All the water falling down from the sky makes Buck Lake a wet spot; most of the rain falls during July; the driest month is November. So many entertaining things to do here at Buck Lake, too great to be true. A great place to camp here at Buck Lake is Strickland Ferry Camp, and camping at Satilla River Vacation Land is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Dead River is       right close by; near Buck Lake you hit upon a golf course called Salacoa Golf Course. Mill Creek is a tremendous local stream, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Atkinson Lake is one of those close by. If you need a place to stay GuestHouse Inn&Stes Brunswick is a nice choice, and do stop by Deerwood Lake Dam if you're here.
