There is a glorious hiking trail next to Browns Lake called the South Fork Trail; you can stay the night at Lake Blue Ridge Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pleasant here at Browns Lake, you can go for a hike along the Benton McKaye Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. And that's not all you can do here at Browns Lake. The Tearbritches       Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Browns Lake, and at Browns Lake Dam near Browns Lake there are some interesting things to see. All through the summertime months here at Browns Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Browns Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Dyer Cove is a striking spot                  any time of year; if you need a spot to stay Blue Ridge - Days Inn is a good choice. On a gorgeous day you obtain a sight of Buck Knob from Browns Lake, and Jack's River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. Barnes Gap is next to Browns Lake and is a brilliant site, and Browns Lake is a great site to camp, Sylco Campground is a great site. The good folks of Cleveland like to hang out close by. A great deal of rain falls at Browns Lake; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.
